Find Your Next Photography Trip

Excellent trip to Spain to photograph the eclipse. Accommodations were terrific. This ended up being a great opportunity for me to practice travel and street photography in addition to adding some beautiful seascapes to my portfolio. Kevin and Eduardo did a great job planning the itinerary for the trip and getting us in position to successfully photograph the solar eclipse in the best positions possible. Bravo!

Iceberg Alley was pure magic—watching towering icebergs drift by while we photographed in that crisp Newfoundland light was one of the most unforgettable experiences of the entire trip.

This was the best photography tour of the several I have taken to date with another company. The quality of my photos has soared! I appreciated that not only was I advised about the best settings to use in a specific situation but WHY. I can't say enough about how helpful Kevin Lisota and Randy Hanna were at addressing how to approach shots and giving options. They worked tirelessly to ensure that we saw as much different wildlife as possible. The guides and spotters that they chose were also outstanding and I was amazed at how they could track the different animals. I will definitely be choosing more trips from Akari!

It was an amazing trip- came home with so many great memories and photos! Highly recommend it! I had wanted for a long time to photograph the Mongolian Eagle Hunters. It exceeded my expectations! Zayaa, our logistics person, was outstanding. She has great knowledge to share and was very motherly in making sure everybody was taken care of. She even loaned me a jacket and scarf because she was concerned that I was not warm enough. Smaller groups mean more personal contact with the guides and fewer people trying to get a shot.

Lavender, Camargue horses, and so much more! I realize you can’t predict the exact timing of the lavender bloom, but we caught it at the peak of the season! I’ve waited several years to see Camargue horses, and they were incredible. We had wonderful opportunities to photograph the horses and guardians on the move over land and water. It was a fantastic experience! What I didn’t expect was the chance to wander through the old cities of Province, enjoy incredible local meals, history and shopping! It was so much more than I’d hoped to see. I saw areas of France (with a local French speaking guide) I would not have ever seen had I not decided to take the tour. Overall it’s wonderful adventure and I highly recommend this tour!

Amazing photo instructors. Who are patient with my limited photo skills and helps me improve my images every trips. This company chose great locations, eco-friendly accommodation and hire wonderful professional local guides to support local community. Great quality and I enjoy every moments! So many great trips they have listed. Oh- Their company website is very easy to use - I like knowing the price and how many available spot they have without bothering their office. I love traveling with Akari Team. I am looking forward to travel with them more! If you are interested in learning photography and enjoy traveling - I highly recommend them!
